Privacy Policy

The Short Version

We collect the information we need to schedule your job, deliver your photos or repairs, and bill you. We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with anyone except the service providers we use to actually run the platform (email, payments, file storage, etc.). You can ask us at any time to delete the data we hold on you.

1. Who's Covered

This Privacy Policy describes how ListReady Group (“ListReady,” “we,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, book a job, or use the ListReady customer dashboard.

2. What We Collect

We collect three categories of information.

You give us: name, email, phone, mailing or property addresses, ZIP code, listing closing dates, booking notes, and (for repairs) photos and descriptions of the work you want done. When you create an account, we also store a hashed password.

Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, referring page, timestamps), and basic device/browser info so the dashboard renders correctly.

From our service providers: for example, Stripe sends us a confirmation when you pay an invoice. We never see or store your full card number.

3. How We Use It

We use your information to:

  • Schedule, deliver, and bill for the jobs you book;
  • Send you order updates, estimates, magic-link tracking pages, and notification emails;
  • Match you with a photographer or tradesman whose service area covers your property (we use the property ZIP to compute distance);
  • Operate the customer dashboard, including authentication and file storage;
  • Provide customer support and answer your questions;
  • Improve the platform — for example, by reviewing usage patterns and fixing bugs;
  • Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

Our service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the platform. As of the effective date above, those include:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Postmark / Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Cloudflare R2 (production) and MinIO (development) — file storage for photos, quotes, and invoices.
  • OpenAI — powers the in-app AI assistant. When you chat with it, we send the conversation and limited job context to OpenAI to generate a response.
  • Zippopotam.us — ZIP-code geocoding for matching providers to properties.

Our tradesmen and photographers. When we schedule a job, we share the property address, contact info, and job notes with the assigned provider so they can do the work.

Legal reasons. If required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the safety of someone, we may disclose information.

Business transfer. If ListReady is acquired or merges with another company, customer data may transfer as part of that deal — bound by this Privacy Policy or its successor.

5. Photos & Property Media

Photos we take or that you upload are stored in our private storage bucket and accessed only via signed, expiring URLs. They're visible to you, your assigned provider(s), and our admin team. They're not made public unless you choose to share them outside the platform.

We may use delivered photos in our own portfolio or marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.

6. Cookies & Similar Tech

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in to the dashboard and to remember session state. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this section.

7. Email & Notifications

When you book a job we send you transactional emails: estimates, schedule confirmations, delivery notifications, invoices. These are part of the service and can't be opted out of without closing your account. We don't send marketing emails by default; if we ever do, you'll be able to unsubscribe from them.

8. Data Retention

We keep job records, files, and account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after that to handle warranties, support, tax, and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete data sooner — see the next section.

9. Your Rights

You can:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold on you;
  • Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate;
  • Ask us to delete your account and personal information (subject to records we're legally required to keep);
  • Ask us not to use your delivered photos in our marketing.

10. Security

We protect customer data with standard security practices: hashed passwords (bcrypt), TLS for all traffic, signed expiring URLs for file downloads, and access controls so a given user only sees their own jobs. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever detect a breach affecting your data, we'll notify affected users as required by law.

11. Children

ListReady is for real estate professionals and adult homeowners. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Where We Operate

We operate from the Kansas City metropolitan area in the United States. By using the platform you're consenting to your information being processed in the U.S.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version here and update the “Effective” date above. For material changes, we'll also notify account holders by email.
